The Best Coverage Foundation/Concealer For Acne & Scars

So everyone in some point of their lives has suffered with those dreaded spots, if you have been unlucky like me I suffered quite badly. Throughout secondly school I had quite bad acne and while all of my friends only got the odd spot I was seeing a dermatologist and trying several different medications to help get rid of them. After years of this I have finally got to a stage where I can tame them and now I just have some acne scaring and the odd breakout at that time of the month.

After trying a fair share of different foundations and concealers I came across one and well I haven't
used anything since. I have been using this for 5 years now and I cant see that changing any time soon. This product is the Vichy DermaBlend Corrective Foundation.

Now this is a foundation but I actually just use it as a concealer. I feel like it would be a bit too thick and maybe cakey for a foundation. What i do is use a drugstore foundation like my favourite Revlon Colour Stay Foundation then over my imperfections and acne scars I dab this over the top. 

This product also builds really well so you can make it very high coverage.

In this first photo I already had done my makeup, so i removed the makeup of an area of skin which has some acne scaring.

And this photo is after applying the DermaBlend Corrective Foundation to that area. 

I have not found a foundation/concealer that has coverage as good as this. 

A tiny bit of this foundation goes a long way so this lasts me for months, which is great for me so it doesn't mean buying a new one every month. As shown in the picture I use 15 Opal which is the perfect shade for me, they have several different shades but i would suggest using a sample or going into boots and swacthing them to find your right shade.

As for the price I think it is very well priced, £18 and it is great quality and personally I would pay much more for it if i had too.
