So after years of trying out different foundations and buying the wrong shades and having to walk around looking orange I think i have found the best drugstore foundations at a cheap cost.
1. Revlon ColourStay Foundation
This is my ALL TIME favourtie drugstore foundation. Now when I buy a foundation I am looking for full coverage as that is what I prefer and this does not disappoint, out of all the foundations I have tried this is definitely the best full coverage foundation I have found. They have a wide range of shades to suit all skin tones and it blends out like a dream.
Pros:
- Great coverage
- Great price
- A little bit of product goes along way
Cons:
- There is no pump so sometimes too much product can come out
- Can be leave skin looking shinny if you don't use matte powder with it
Price: £12.99
2. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
This is my go to summer foundation, it is fast and easy to apply and blends well. Their colours always match my skin tone perfectly, this does leave a dewy finish to your skins which is why I love it for in the summer. The coverage is medium so i always wear it with a concealer as well which just so happens to be the Wake Me Up Concealer which is great for covering dark under eye circles.
Pros:
- dewy finish
- pump and lid unlike relvon color stay
- SPF 15
Cons:
- not great coverage
Price: £8.99
3. L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation
Now this foundation really does do what it says on the packaging, matches your colour! This foundation has so many different shades which is perfect for every skin tone and I love it. This is a medium coverage which you can build on to create a good coverage, I always make sure I use a primer before using this foundation otherwise it doesn't last all day.
Pros:
- light weight foundation
- good coverage
- wide range of shades
Cons:
- not long lasting
- needs to be worn with a primer
Price:£9.99
Love Meg x
